One-off project fee — quote with your proposal

A one-off commission for a short animated video presentation. THE SUBJECT An infectious disease ward has a manual door. To get in or out, everyone touches it — the staff who work there, the patients, and the relatives who visit and sit in close contact with them. The ward treats HIV and AIDS, measles, chicken pox and shingles. A shared door handle in that setting is a transmission route, and the client wants it replaced with an automatic door. WHAT THE VIDEO IS FOR Persuading the people who approve the spend. It will be shown to hospital decision-makers rather than a general audience, so it needs to be clear and factual rather than dramatic or gruesome. WHAT IT SHOULD COVER - The door as it is now, and how many hands touch it in a day - Why that matters on this ward in particular, given who is treated there and who visits - The ask: an automatic door, and what changes once it is fitted THE BRIEF IS DELIBERATELY OPEN The client's own words were "short and precise" and "I have nothing in mind at the moment — give me options." A proposal that arrives with a suggested treatment, a length, and a reason for both will be read first. 2D motion graphics, character animation, whiteboard or a narrated explainer are all on the table — make the case for one. Further detail on the ward and the specific door follows once the commission is agreed. Experience Required: Portfolio matters more than years
